The New Crystal's
Party Bar Brings Fun to Crystal Lake
A new level of entertainment hits Chicago's northwest
suburbs with the opening of Crystal's Party Bar located
at 800 S. Route 31 in Crystal Lake.
Crystal's does not charge an admission fee - EVER.
Crystal's features an extensive video entertainment system,
including individual TVs in each of the club's numerous
plush booths. The flat screen monitors can be adjusted
to each patron's choice of channels for sports, music
videos, free wireless video games including PS2 titles
and even to watch what's happening on the dance floor
on camera. "The booths with TVs are perfect for sports
fans and happy hour patrons, and they will function as
cool little getaway areas with personalized entertainment
for the nighttime crowd," said Borden.
Giant plasma screens ring the dance floor area to add
to the late night party atmosphere, and a translucent
screen high above the dance floor serves as a shadow box
for more adventurous patrons to dance in silhouette among
colorful lighting and video projections.
"Crystal's plays what we call The Best Party Music Ever,"
said Borden. "It's an all-hits format concentrating on
fun, upbeat music from the 80s and 90s with plenty of
music videos." Luis, famous for his long-time
residencies at Boogie Nights in Schaumburg, keep the party
going strong from 9 PM until 2 AM Friday and Saturday.
On Wednesdays, Crystal's jumps back to the future, reviving
the legendary weeknight party in Crystal Lake with $2
U-Call-It drinks and the latest dance mixes. Tuesday is
a retro lounge party with $3 martinis, and "Rock On Thursdays"
features a rock video format with $3 "Mega Mug" beer specials.
Patrons can throw darts, shoot pool and play a variety
of video games such as Golden Tee and video bowling, as
well as use free wireless controllers to play a variety
of video games in real time over the NTN satellite network
with players across North America.
